The first post on Sunday, October 14th, said, "When my fiance left me I volunteered to go to Iraq hoping I wouldn't come back. I got the purple heart instead."This site shows photos that people send in that have statements added to them of personal secrets. Some are serious, some are funny, some are too personal to understand the meaning. All of these opinions are put on the same webpage, separated only by what day they are posted. The site shows so much into what other people think is important and how strangely our brains works. Some of the posts made me want to laugh, some cry, and some were obviously just stupid. However, every one showed something about the poster. The site is updated daily and is annonymous. From more searching I found that the site also has sound bites and videos of people revealing secrets. The site has this invitation posted under 'How do I mail in my secrets?'"You are invited to anonymously contribute your secrets to PostSecret. Each secret can be ahope, regret, funny experience, unseen kindness, fantasy, belief, fear, betrayal, erotic desire, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal anything - as long as it is true and you havenever shared it with anyone before. "As you can see, this is a place where one can go and let out everything. There are multiple mediums to express multiple feelings. I believe this is a good site for all types of people. It lets me see that I'm not the only one with little problems or who thinks things out of the norm. But could this be normal? The people posting on this site say they are doctors, fire fighters, soldiers, businessmen and women, elderly men and women, and others from all walks of life and all types of backgrounds. What is your secret today?

I think this is a really great way for people to reach out and share what's on their mind without revealing their identity. This also ties into what we have been discussing in class, along the lines of personal identity and who someone really is by what they post or write.
I am intrigued. I want to visit this site and see what it's all about. Maybe post a secret of my own. It's pretty interesting that you found this. I bet there are other places like this online too. It would be cool to go to different ones and see what people are saying.
I forgot to mention that the only way to get a post up is to send it through "snail mail". There is the sound byte or video option. I'm not technologically advanced enough to figure those out though.
